I don’t normally play mobile games but his game had me from the start, it’s great it got me invested in the story and my own character can’t wait for more.

I’ve been waiting for the sequel ever since I finished the first book a year ago and it’s finally coming. 10/10 would read again

I need to know if there is or isn’t a part 2! Does it have another name?! Although frustrating at times, the ending really made me feel some emotions. I really want a PT2

Great story. Super detailed. Pretty long Choices seem to really affect the story Loved it!

A great first installment to a much larger story. I will begin by stating that this game is far from perfect. The plot is rather rigid (an effect of it being the first installment of a three-or-four part series, with the second part currently undergoing beta testing), with many of the choices being non-choices that have little to no effect on the overall plot. Nonetheless, the combination of an intriguing plot and colorful supporting cast more than make up for this rigidness. I personally loved CCH, and highly recommend it.

Seeing all the rave reviews, I downloaded the game being a big fan of this type of game. However, as of now I cannot recommend the game. The game feels like one big set up for a sequel that's not out yet(while that is what it is, it does not stand on its own). Most of the choices are pseudo-choices, having no real impact or effect on anything. One egregious example of this is when you are making choice regarding how much you commit to seeing someone, and someone else Interrupts you, making the choice for you. There are also and insanely high amount of systems and stats at play here, many of which seem to serve no purpose, and I feel the writer will struggle to use these going forward. It's world seems decently realized, and the story is intriguing, but until decisions pay off in later games it is not recommended.

This is an amazing story based game. If you're on the fence about playing it- definitely get it! I've replayed it at least 5 times, and I am very attached to the characters. Just amazing. The writer really outdid himself here. If you can't tell, I really love this game:)

So, I've played quite a few of these interactive novels. This is by far hands down one of the best I've had the honor of playing. Honestly, I just want more of this game, like a 1,000,000 page book will do

I thought that the story was great and very immersive. I thought it was a original and smart idea that the author lets you answer the test questions instead of just hoping you pressed a button that says "Study" enough times. My only complaint is that no matter how much your character trains, it seems that they still end up weak and rather powerless in most situations. However, the game overall was fantastic, 10/10!

Very good story. Great characters and well written. This was great, I recommend to anyone who is a superhero fan.

I have a penchant for getting incredibly attached to characters and their stories. This is one of those rare occasions where I truly care for the people in the story. The storyline itself can be a little dry at times, but I still believe it deserves five stars. Strong start, great characters, and good romances. I'm totally a sucker for that sort of thing and hope to see more individual scenes with my favorite characters. Only thing that detracts from the game is that some of choices are false choices- meaning that they don't actually affect the plot. Otherwise, I truly enjoy this game and eagerly away the sequels!

I did like it, however, I wish that the MC had abilities like the others, being the only one who can't do anything is really detracting from the story.

Looking forward to the next episode. CCH is a fun read, and you won't regret playing it for a single moment.

A great story by a talented creator. I've spent many hours with community college hero and every minute was fun. I enjoyed the story and the characters especially the romances. For the price this is a great experience I highly recommend playing it.

It seems I am the only one who did not enjoy this story. For some reason, I felt as though everything was going south.

Years ago, this old man used to read these paperbacks that you read a page or two, then selected an option from the questions at the bottom of the page. Depending on your response, you turned to a wholly different page and found out the result of your choice. This is exactly the same, but deeper, with more options, results, and NO, you can't undo your choices, much like life. You must learn from mistakes and move forward. The underlying story is involved and allows you to make selections based on how you want to play your character. I cannot wait for the next installment.

This was really fun and I'm looking forward to the sequel!

This is one of the only games that felt completed in terms of most possible loose ends in the story, everything felt much more real, the story does end a little on a cliff hanger. yet the cliffhanger is one of the best parts, because it means a new story is on the way and I can't wait to buy it, I really hope... (spoiler???) ...that in the next story we can decide our heroic fate, like if we get powers, and the type of power we get, Either way I can't wait!

I have very few games from Hosted Games because some of their stories aren't really my style. But this one left me interested and invested. I liked it so much I just had to review. Very fun and interesting! Buy it!

I've purchased over 25 choice/hosted games over the last couple of years. Some were good, some were bad, some were ugly. Only three have managed to completely enchant and immerse me in the author's created world, and this is one of them. Quality writing, high replay value, and well developed, fully fleshed out characters made this one a joy. I commend the author for having the guts to include a controversial plot point with a certain professor. These are adult characters who find themselves in adult situations, and it's refreshing to see someone include a storyline like that instead of shying away from it for fear of being too risqué. I highly recommend this title, and can't wait for the sequel!

I downloaded this and within a day play thought all four character archetypes, trying to get as much out of the game as possible. I absolutely love the writing style and mechanics, PLEASE put out a sequel soon.

I honestly did enjoy this a lot. I loved how inclusive it is, I love most of the characters (damnyouDownfall!) but there were some issues with writing. Only two that I could pick out. The asexual option is more or less aromantic. Asexual is = lack of sexual attraction. Aromantic is = lack of romantic attraction. So when the option given is "I don't feel like dating anyone", it's more aromantic than asexual. Another issue would be the nonbinary option because of a glitch(?) at the end. Tbh compared to a book like Versus, the nonbinary option was more less stereotyped and offensive. But at the end of the book, while dating Dirty Girl I was called her girlfriend which made me think that I picked the wrong gender option but in the end I did click nonbinary. So if you can fix that it would be gr88. I'm very excited for the next book to come. Tbh I love anything with a superhero concept.

There are a lot of hosted/Choice of games that center on genres I don't like (zombies, the medieval period, etc.) so I'm always ecstatic when one of these comes out! This and the Heroes Trilogy are some of my favorites from this! I really want to play all the future chapters right now. Why is playing around with superheroes so much fun?

Firstly I've loved most of their other games. This one was decent but a little long winded at times. I found myself skipping through screens, especially on replay. Mainly they killed off the only character I really liked and had feelings for and in effect killed my interest in the series. I had to force myself to finish the story.

Played through about 20 times. Mechanics and balanced need some polishing, but great characters and engaging story overshadow the flaws.

I purchased this game last night and stayed up waaay too late to play through most of the romances and get most of the achievements. Definitely the best COG game I've played recently. The one thing I hope the author does is add the Hedonist as a romance, I'd be interested in hearing more about his story.

Plot kind of on rails, numerous fake choices, boring subsection involving taking an exam (what the--?) unininteresting characters. Give this a pass. Instead, go play Choice of Robots or Zombie Exodus, both pretty cool games from this publisher.

A very good start to what I personally hope will be a great series of games. A must buy if you are into interactive fiction.

This story is great! Very detailed and keeps you wanting to read more. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because of the response choices given. Hardly any matched my strong personality, but it's ok. I can overlook it since it is hard to capture all your readers personality into one story so I understand. Still loved it! How do we find out when the next chapters come out??? I hope soon!!

I really enjoyed the game so far, but after realizing the story is incomplete my wallet started burning. I realized that I'd spent money on a game that I can't continue! So it's mainly my fault, though I think the price is a little too much for the amount of content, hopefully the rest of the chapters will be downloadable free or at least cheaper. Overall I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to people who enjoy interactive stories, but 4 dollars for a <2 hour game even for a mobile app seems a bit much to me.

Honestly, this story/game is awesome. The writing was great, story engaging, and your choices definitely play a role in things. The characters are diverse and unique, all with their own personalities and were pretty much just generally interesting! I enjoyed the romance options, and the achievements you can get are really extensive. Community College Hero is what I'd consider to be the best Hosted Game put out there! I'm not sure if I've ever given a five star rating to anything on the App Store...so yeah, that isn't done lightly. At first I was disappointed that my character didn't have powers, but things were really fun despite that. I will be looking forward to the next installment in this series! I'd like to see relationships develop even more between the characters, especially between a character your main character is romancing/in a relationship with XP. But yeah, sorry this was long and sounded semi professional and then went to...well, not so much. Haha, whatever this story is awesome! Already spent too much time playing it but think I will continue to do so for a bit more. (Also, totally worth the money! Almost forgot to add that in 😜)

This game was very interesting to me because at first I assumed it would be a Heroes Rise knock off. Once had played it for a bit I saw that it really wasn't. While it had similar aspects because of the Super Hero nature of the two story's it was clearly its own thing. The writer does a fantastic job with the separate characters and giving them each a distinct feel. I loved the humor incorporated in the game and when I replayed it as a different type of hero I loved how there are complete differences dialog wise and in terms of character interaction. I also noticed that the author clearly put thought, time and love into this story and whenever that translates across as clearly as it did here, you know it is a game worth playing. I absolutely recomend you try it if you love super heroes and text based games. My biggest hope is that the sequel is able to hold up to this game!
